I took some time to reflect on 2016 and what I wanted to accomplish personally for the new year. I like to write down my goals whenever I feel inspired! Which is a lot and I jot them down in my journal throughout the year to accomplish. You feel so accomplished when you get to scratch it off your list.
This year I am excited to continue my healthy lifestyle and try new workouts like yoga, and experiment with new foods! I’ve been on an organic kick lately and have so much more energy and I can’t wait to try new organic and vegan recipes to help promote my health. If your looking to get healthier, really do your research on what “diet” you want to try. I’m an avid reader on trying new diets or cleaner ways of eating. It’s important to have all the information and do it the right way!
What are your New Year’s resolutions? To exercise more, try a new diet, move to a new city, kick a bad habit or start a new habit? Whatever your resolution is writing it down and making a plan is the first step! Here are a few of my steps to help achieve your goals from what I learned through my experience.
1. Make a plan!
2. Set achievable goals
3. Be committed to your goals and know what the expectations are before you start
4. Give yourself a timeline on when you want to complete
5. Plan to keep yourself accountable and stick with it!
