Move Your Body
Exercise! I love going to the gym after a long work day. It really helps relieve my stress and after a great gym session, it makes my body tired and ready for rest. Take the Day Off
Next, I like to get out of my gym clothes and into more comfy clothes. I remove all my makeup from the day and start on my nightly skincare routine. I call it my lotions and potions routine! It’s calming for me to grab my favorite skincare products and go through each step. Once I am done I like to grab my favorite PJ’s and get ready to hop into bed.
Unwind and Read
Instead of grabbing my phone I pivot to a book that I’m currently reading. I try to put down my electronics like my phone and computer because they tend to get me over focused and I can’t unwind. However, when I read one of my books it is very calming!
